Eggs Up Grill
Eggs Up Grill, a new breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot with a bustling atmosphere, proved to be a popular choice after church. The overflow of guests created a 35-minute wait for seated tables, but as a solo diner, I found a spot at the breakfast bar. My spirited and lively waitress added to the positive experience.
The Caramel Cinnamon Smile coffee, dripped with whipped cream, was a delightful treat for a coffee enthusiast like myself. The Coastal Crab Cakes Benedict with a side of grits made for a promising entree, featuring well-seasoned crab cakes smothered in hollandaise sauce. Unfortunately, my enjoyment took a hit when I unexpectedly crunched on an eggshell, leading to disappointment and an unfinished meal. On a brighter note, the grits were perfectly cooked, and a touch of sugar added a flavorful twist.
Eggs Up Grill's spacious layout includes a private room for larger groups of 10-12 people. Despite having only one men's and one women's restroom, the establishment maintains a family-friendly, kid-friendly, and brunch date-friendly ambiance. Despite the hiccup in the meal, the overall experience at Eggs Up Grill seems to offer a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for various occasions.
