Lafayette Music Room

Located in Overton Square, the historic Lafayette’s Music Room is renowned for its lively atmosphere, great food, and live music seven days a week. Parking at Overton Square is convenient with plenty of available space and security on site. You can easily book a reservation online or order to go to experience their newest menu.

Upon entering Lafayette's doors, I was  greeted by two lovely ladies who directed me to the area where the Elites were gathering. We indulged in an assortment of appetizers, including loaded cheese fries, spring rolls, and calamari. For my main meal, I ordered the chicken parm po boy with a side of broccolini.

The loaded cheese fries were cooked to perfection, covered in cheese, bacon, and green onions, though a bit too cheesy for my taste. My favorite dish was the fried vegetable egg rolls, especially when dipped in teriyaki sauce. The calamari was crispy and seasoned perfectly and the peppers gave it the extra flavor to spicy it up.

The chicken parm po boy offered an interesting taste for me. Topped with mozzarella cheese ,dipped in marinara sauce, the chicken was tender and flavorful. The broccolini made me feel like I was being healthy because it was steamed and seasoned very well.

Overall, I was satisfied with the selection of dishes I tried. If you're seeking a combination of brunch, lunch, dinner, and live music, Lafayette’s Music Room is definitely the place to be.
